The Joy of Labor and God’s Provision

The harvest season is a time to celebrate the fruit of our labors. But more importantly, it’s a season to reflect on God’s provision. As Deuteronomy 8:17-18 reminds us, “You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’ But remember God, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.” It’s easy to get caught up in the busy routines of school, activities, and projects and forget that all our efforts would be in vain without God’s blessing.

Put Resources Of Value Into Developing Everyone
During harvest, farmers work long and hard to bring in their crops, but they also know every good gift comes from the Lord (James 1:17). As we enjoy the abundance of the season, let’s cultivate a heart of gratitude in our homes, thanking God for providing His strength daily, and for the blessings we often take for granted.
