From Lies to Liberation
Have you ever noticed how much of every battle you face happens in your thoughts? Before we act, speak, or decide—our thoughts lead the way. And yet, so many of us live bound by fear, insecurity, bitterness, or anxiety simply because we haven’t learned to fight back mentally.
But, there is a liberty that renews your mind, and it begins with truth.
True freedom comes when we stop letting emotions, wounds, or worldly opinions shape us and start letting Biblical evidence reshape how we think. That’s the power of Living in Biblical Evidence Revealed To You—LIBERTY that transforms us from the inside out.
The Day I Chose to Think Differently
A few years ago, I faced a deeply painful betrayal by someone I loved and trusted. The situation haunted my thoughts. I agonized over why it happened, what I could’ve done differently, and whether I’d ever feel whole again. Every day felt like a replay of grief.
I opened my Bible one morning and read Romans 12:2:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

I realized that I had the option to think differently. That Scripture wasn’t just comforting—it was empowering. I wrote it on a sticky note, taped it to my mirror, and began reading it aloud each morning.
It didn’t fix my pain overnight, but it refocused my mind. Instead of replaying betrayal, I started repeating promises. Instead of wondering what I lacked, I reminded myself who God says I am.
Liberty That Renews Your Mind Comes Through the Word
The truth is, God’s Word has the power to retrain your thought patterns from:
- Fear to faith
- Shame to identity
- Anxiety to peace
- Revenge to grace
This kind of liberty doesn’t just set you free—it sets a new course for your future. When your mind is renewed, your life follows.
Philippians 4:8 gives us a roadmap:
“Whatever is true, honest, noble, right, pure, lovely… think about such things.”
I had to memorize this as a teen in the Missionettes program (now called Stars) at church. But to this day, I can still call it easily to mind. It serves as a measuring stick or ruler for my thoughts, and it helps me keep those thoughts in line. Rooted in truth, instead of swaying in the wind and influenced by the latest fad.
To help you begin that journey, try picking up some Scripture card sets that focus on Bible verses about renewing your mind. You’ll find truths to speak, declare, and believe over your life. Tape them to your mirror. Carry them in your bag. Let Biblical evidence become your mental soundtrack.
Your Thoughts Can Be Free
You don’t have to believe everything you think.
Let God’s truth replace every lie. Also, use Scripture to reframe every wound. Let liberty that renews your mind become the daily path you walk.
You’re not just thinking differently—you’re becoming new.
