About Get Rooted
How We Got Started
God has been “downloading” acronyms to our Chief Visionary, Lou, for more than 10 years. He wrote them down to share with friends and family.
One day, someone suggested, “Why not put these on t-shirts?” Not long after, Get Rooted was born! And our product line has only expanded from there.
Each acronym and design serves as a powerful tool to spark meaningful conversations about faith, hope, and love.
Mission Statement
We link everyday words to Biblical truth to help you get rooted in a life of purpose. (Colossians 2:6-7)
Vision Statement
We envision a generation of believers who stand firm in God’s truth, not distracted by the empty promises of the world. Our goal is to keep hearts and minds rooted in Scripture and eyes fixed on Christ. Through our work, we help a global community run their race with purpose, fully alive in the abundant life God designed for them.

Lou
Chief Visionary
Lou is the creative mind behind Get Rooted, receiving the unique acronyms that inspire our designs. After years of jotting down ideas, he decided to share them with others through apparel.
Lou and his wife, Barb, have been married since 1972, have been ministry leaders at their church, and enjoy spending time with their 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and a small dog named Ginger.
Barb
Chief Administrator
Barb has over 40 years of experience as a legal secretary and plays a key role in keeping things organized at Get Rooted. She works closely with Lou to ensure everything runs smoothly, bringing a steady and supportive presence to the team.
Tiffany
Director, Brand Marketing
Tiffany brings over 20 years of experience in writing and marketing to Get Rooted. She oversees site & product content, communication, and design strategy, ensuring every detail reflects the brand’s mission of encouraging purposeful living.
When she’s not working, speaking, or writing books, she enjoys life in Kentucky with her family, including her husband, two teenagers, two dogs, and five cats.
Brad
Director of Operations
Brad brings 15 years of professional experience in banking and operations, along with a passion for digital media. He focuses on making sure our processes are efficient and that every product meets our high standards.
Brad has lived in Richmond, VA, since 2011 and enjoys weightlifting, outdoor adventures, and helping others in his community.
