For a believer in Christ, life goes beyond focusing on things or positions. Many people view success as focusing on the accumulation of material things and achieving influence. After a while, they reach a point of, “Is this all there is?” Dissatisfaction and sometimes depression can result. Success might not look like how a lot of people define it, but it will definitely lead you closer toward fulfilling your purpose. True success isn’t about wealth, status, or achievements—it’s about walking in obedience to God’s plan and making an impact for His kingdom.

You accomplish this by seeking a closer relationship with Jesus through reading His love letter to you. The B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). Many books give you knowledge, but only ONE book gives you both knowledge AND wisdom! As you read the Bible, you’ll get history, life skills, Godly success principles, and daily guidance. You’ll find encouragement for weariness, direction when you’re lost, and strength when you feel weak. More importantly, you’ll grow in faith and develop the mindset needed to stay committed to your calling.

So, search the Scriptures. Begin with the right A.T.T.I.T.U.D.E. (All Thoughts Tamed In Total Unity Directed Effectively). Philippians 4:8—Whatever is true, honest, just, right, pure and admirable…if there is any virtue or praise, think on these things.—will help, and take steps forward from there. No matter what challenges come your way, remain fixed on Christ until success. The world may measure success differently, but when you seek Him first, you’ll always be exactly where you’re meant to be.
